Staged Reading: An Enemy of the People

by Henrik Ibsen, adapted by Arthur Miller
directed by Michael R. Cohen.
One morning only: Sunday, May 21st, at Temple Beth Hillel, Richmond.

Actors Ensemble is producing a staged reading of Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, adapted by Arthur Miller, for the "Sunday Bagel Brunch" on Sunday May 21st at Temple Beth Hillel, Richmond (near Hilltop Mall).

An Enemy of the People is Ibsen's great parable about the costs of the truth, featuring a town in denial of the environmental disaster at the center of their livelihood, the baths, and the idealist Doctor Stockmann who is determined to expose them for the health threat they pose, despite the costs to himself, his family, and his town.  The performance will be on Sunday morning, May 21st at 10 a.m. at Temple Beth Hillel in Richmond (near Hilltop Mall).

Actors Ensemble of Berkeley has been producting high-quality theatre with a community flavor since 1957
