"Actors Ensemble of Berkeley Day" - February 26th 2019

The City of Berkeley is declaring February 26th, 2019 Actors Ensemble of Berkeley Day. The City Hall declaration is at 6:00 at the BERKELEY CITY COUNCIL MEETING on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 6:00 PM  located at the SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD ROOM   1231 ADDISON STREET, BERKELEY, CA 94702. 

IN HONOR OF JEROME SOLBERG AND ACTORS ENSEMBLE

WHEREAS, ACTORS ENSEMBLE OF BERKELEY has been producing "quality theatre empasizing the ensemble, with a community flavor" in Berkeley since 1957. WHEREAS, the volunteer board of Actors Ensemble, among which JEROME SOLBERG has been a leading member since 2007, has worked tirelessly and without compensation to produce over 45 main stage productions and over 45 staged readings in the time since he joined the board. WHEREAS these productions have entertained, inspired, and educated more than 40,000 audience members at low cost, and provided valuable experience, training, and friendships for more than 500 actors, actresses, crew and designers, from all walks of life.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT I, JESSE ARREGUIN, Mayor of the City of Berkeley, do hereby declare JEROME SOLBERG and ACTORS ENSEMBLE DAY in the City of Berkeley. Link to Agenda.
