Mick Renner (Chebutykin) has returned to Bay Area theatre
after a hiatus of several years. He
previously appeared at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in such plays as
Hamlet (Claudius), The Hostage (IRA Officer), and Front Page (Diamond
Louie); at the California Shakespeare Festival in Pericles (Pericles),
Troilus and Cressida (Thersites), and The Tempest (Stephano); and at the
Eureka Theatre in the award-winning Mary Barnes (Hugo).
He served as producing director of Power Mad Productions, for
whom he directed Handke’s The Ride Across Lake Constance, and Shaw’s
The Shewing-Up of Blanco Posnet.
