Ben Ortega was last seen in the triple
role of Tom/Phyllis/Leslie in A. R. Gurney's Sylvia (Hayward Little
Theater). Since 1966, Mr. Ortega has acted in many stage productions in
Los Angeles and the Bay Area. His favorite roles include The Inspector in
Stoppard's Dogg's Hamlet, Cahoot Macbeth, George Hay in Ken
Ludwig's Moon Over Buffalo, and Picasso in Steve Martin's Picasso
at the Lapin Agile. Ben studied acting at UCLA and with Lisa Chess
privately. He has performed in many clubs on both East and West coasts as
a stand-up comedian.
