Rosmersholm (1868) is considered one of Ibsen's greatest works, yet is rarely performed. The protaganist, a rich landowner, attempts to support the modern, liberal
development of the local community, but is besieged by his brother Kroll, who accuses him of being a traitor to his class, and at the same time he is tortured by the loss of his wife to suicide and his simultaneous attraction to Rebecca, a woman who has seemingly rejected all moral conventions.

One night Only, Monday, January 29th 8pm Old Finnish Hall, 1819 10th Street, Berkeley, near San Pablo & University. Pay-What-You-Can. There will be one intermission. No food in the main hall. Crystal Brown (Director) is a member of the board of Actors Ensemble. Favorite stage credits include The Marriage of Figaro (Actors Ensemble), Nunsense (Altarena Playhouse), Happily Whatever After (Berubian Theater), Scenes from the Iliad (Accidental Festival), and Die Meister singer von Nurnberg (Royal Opera House). Crystal studied music theater at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and specializes in devised theater. She enjoys teaching the theater arts and is a member of the Teaching Artist Guild.
