AUDITION NOTICE: Faeries of the Moonlight

This summer, Actors Ensemble of Berkeley will be bringing a new musical to the John Hinkel Park Amphitheatre, Faeries of the Moonlight, with Book and Lyrics by Mercedes Cohen, Music Composed and Arranged by Aoife Ni Conchobhair O’Connor, and directed by Michael Cohen.

Faeries of the Moonlight follows the adventure of a “rebellious” teenager, Sunny when she crosses over to the fairy realm after she has a fight with her famous Celtic punk rock singer mother.  Rory and Maddie, (short for Medusa), rescue her. Sunny’s escape or capture hangs in suspense as magic, betrayal, and sacrifice shape the events that catapult the characters into a life and death struggle. It’s a modern fairy tale that shows the importance of friendship and loyalty.

Auditions will be Sunday, April 30, and Monday, May 1 — 7:00pm to 10:00pm at Temple Beth Hillel 801n Park Central Ave. Richmond, CA 94803.  Callbacks will be at the same venue on Thursday, May 4, 7:00 – 10:00pm.  If for some reason you cannot make one of these dates, we may be able to accomodate you, please contact us at the email address below.
