We will be holding the auditions for all three plays simultaneously. You are welcome to audition for either or both plays and/or the staged reading. The Caucasian Chalk Circle and The Knight of the Burning Pestle are full productions. An Enemy of the People will be a staged reading.
Auditions will be held on Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th, 2017, 10a.m. - 1 p.m. at John Hinkel Park Amphitheatre, 41 Somerset Pl. (at Southampton, off Arlington), Berkeley, CA 94707. (Audition by appointment only.)
Announcing auditions for our Winter Staged Reading Series. This is a collaboration with TheatreFirst's T1 Presents performance series. These staged readings are presented as a companion to our main stage production of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, opening Jan 20th, 2017 at Live Oak Theatre.
Actors Ensemble of Berkeley is delighted to acknowledge the Berkeley Civic Arts Program and Civic Arts Commission's support in the form of a grant of $8,000.00 awarded in 2017. Also, a thank you to Theatre Bay Area for a grant of $2,500.00.
