For lovers of Dungeons & Dragons, role-play-minded fans of playwright Qui Nguyen’s She Kills Monsters, an 80-minute ‘90s pop culture work of theater about a Tilly, a girl who somersaults into adventure in a visit to the imaginary world of her recently deceased teenage sister, and especially for anyone appreciative of a good slice: get to LaVal’s, grab some nourishment/pie, and catch director Kayla Minton Kaufman’s spirited, comedic collaboration with Berkeley’s longest running theater troupe.
