Jeff Garrett Jeff Garrett was seen this summer at Shakespeare Santa Cruz in productions of Henry IV, part 1 and The Three Musketeers. His New York credits include “Yakov” in Enemies at Circle In The Square, the title role in Saint Hugo at the Lamb's Theatre and “Jason Alden” on the ABC soap opera, Loving. He has directed the one-man show Shimmer, written by the Bay Area's own John O'Keefe and will next be seen in AlterTheater's world premiere of A Man, his Wife, and his Hat.
Lisa Wang (Ellie) performed with the AeofB earlier this year in Sarah Ruhl's Passion Play, where she played the roles of Queen Elizabeth, Hitler, and Ronald Reagan. In addition to seeing her with AEofB, you can catch Lisa performing in and around SF with her improvised theatre group, The Streetlight People. thestreetlightpeople.com
Norman Macleod (Howard) Norman trained as an actor with York Repertory Theatre in England. Since 1965 he has performed in numerous local productions including his appearances with Actors Ensemble as Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, as King Berenger the First in Exit the King, as The Chorus in Antigone, and multiple roles in Passion Play. Norman thanks Dianne for her continued support and forbearance during his theatrical endeavors.
Tony Procaccini (Arthur) Back on stage after a decade or so break! Tony has enjoyed performing a range of characters from Stand-Up comedy at Catch a Rising Star Nightclub in NYC and in the Soap Opera Gays of Our Lives at Theatre Rhino in SF. His “deeper stuff” includes his Best Supporting Actor performance in the CT Theatre Festival, as Raul in Extremities.
Tom Reilly (Dr. Block) is very happy to be doing his second show with Curtain Theatre after appearing in multiple fabulous costumes in As You Like It last summer. (Thanks, Maria!) He has recently been seen in Into The Woods with Squirrel Hill Players, in Annie and Bye, Bye Birdie at Solano College Theatre, and in November, The Miracle Worker, and Sabrina Fair with Ross Valley Players. He has also worked with the Marin Shakespeare Company (Julius Caesar), TheatreFirst (Sergeant Musgrave’s Dance), Contra Costa Civic Theatre (St. Joan, And Then There Were None), and Actors Ensemble (The Devil’s Disciple, Camping With Henry and Tom). He has studied with Donna Davis and at the Berkeley Rep School of Theatre and has toured with Kaleidoscope Players, the State Theatre of New Mexico.
Shifra Pride Raffel (Lucille) is an Actors Ensemble member who was seen here last season in The Knight of The Burning Pestle as Lady Pompiona (and many other silly characters) and in one performance of Heartbreak House as Ariadne Utterword. Previous favorite roles include Maud/Betty in Cloud 9 and Debbie in The Real Thing. She also had a wonderful time working behind the scenes on last season's The Winter's Tale and Heartbreak House, running sound, sewing costumes and making props. By day she is a computer programmer who actually doesn't like sunflowers.
